Puget Sound Energy Offers Incentives for Commercial Facilities

Save up to 70% on energy-saving retrofit projects for your Commercial Facility with a grant from Puget Sound Energy (PSE).

Retrofit projects such as boiler replacements, envelope improvements, and major HVAC upgrades can result in huge energy savings for a commercial building.

PSE offers incentives for cost-effective energy efficiency measures that have quantifiable costs and energy savings. Common custom measures include boiler upgrades, the installation of variable frequency drives (VFDs) on fans or pumps, HVAC equipment replacement, building envelope improvements, high-efficiency chillers, and air compressor upgrades. Other common measures such as Lighting, HVAC Controls, and Advanced Rooftop Controls have their own programs. Learn more.

PSE helps with those investments by offering custom grants that can cover up to 70 percent of a project’s equipment and installation cost.

Energy-efficient upgrades lower energy consumption and utility bills and can help bring your building into compliance with energy standards set forth by the state’s new Clean Buildings Law. The law affects buildings larger than 50,000 square feet, and the largest buildings are required to comply with these standards as soon as 2025.

PSE offers a no-cost program, the Clean Buildings Accelerator, designed to educate facility teams and put organizations on the path to compliance.
