Wayne's Roofing Wins Big at BNBuilders Pickleball Tournament
Wayne's Roofing recently had the pleasure of participating in the BNBuilders Charity Pickleball Tournament — one of the Seattle area's premier industry networking and charity events. The tournament brings together professionals from construction, architecture, owners' reps/CMs, and the extended client community for a day of friendly competition, community connection, and charitable giving. All benefiting HopeSparks, a local nonprofit that strengthens children and families by inspiring courage and confidence to make lasting change. Their programs serve families facing trauma, adversity, and life challenges throughout Pierce County and the Puget Sound region. To learn more, visit hopesparks.org.
Two Divisions, Two Strong Showings
Wayne's Roofing entered two teams across the tournament's gender-neutral competitive and social divisions, and the results speak for themselves.
Social Play Division: Mike Tweit and CJ Richmond took home 1st place, proving that great teamwork on a job site translates just as well to the court. Their chemistry and communication were clearly on point all day.
Competitive Play Division: Wayne Fulmer and Mary HaWaaboo battled their way to the finals round — an impressive run against some tough competition from across the industry.
More Than Just a Game
Events like BNBuilders Pickleball are a reminder that the construction industry is about more than projects and deadlines. It's about the relationships and community built along the way. For Wayne's Roofing, that community spirit is nothing new. Showing up for industry events like this is simply an extension of who we are.
Congratulations to Mike, CJ, Wayne, and Mary for representing the team so well. We're proud of the competitive spirit you brought to the court, and even more proud of the way you represented Wayne's Roofing with sportsmanship and camaraderie throughout the day.
Here's to more wins — on and off the roof!
